Today, a friend sent an email to me which contained comments by several FP landowners. These emails had already been sent around to several other people. In general, they were pretty much covering some of the same things.What I found most interesting, was that only three members of the Board of Directors were addressed; Bunn, Barth and Wilson. I am wondering why Director Waters wasn't addressed also? Is it because the writers of these obnoxious e-mails were included in the gifts Mr. Waters has been doling out since he has been on the Board?
I found the e-mails full of hate, anger and disrespect for three of our directors who volunteer many hours of their time serving our association. They were elected by a majority of the voting landowners and should be treated with due respect. I also found the two letters full of false statements and showing a lack of understanding of our by-laws and covenants.
These e-mails were answered politely, respectfully and intelligently by someone on the board. In return, the board received more outbursts of rage and vindictiveness from these same few members. I guess there are some landowners who are not very happy with the three members of our Board who are doing what they feel is best for our association as a whole instead of just a few of their “friends”.
The reason for this rebellion, as I see it: “The problem of the human heart is the heart of the human problem.”
